संत संभु श्रीपति अपबादा। सुनिअ जहाँ तहँ असि मरजादा॥ काटिअ तासु जीभ जो बसाई। श्रवन मूदि न त चलिअ पराई॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

santa sambhu śrīpati apabādā। suni'a jahāṃ tahaṃ asi marajādā॥ kāṭia tāsu jībha jo basāī। śravana mūdi na ta calia parāī॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

Wherever the slander of saints, Shiva, or Lord Vishnu is heard, there is such a rule of conduct: if one can, cut out the slanderer’s tongue; if not, then cover one’s ears and leave at once.
