संभु समय तेहि रामहि देखा। उपजा हियँ अति हरषु बिसेषा॥ भरि लोचन छबिसिंधु निहारी। कुसमय जानि न कीन्हि चिन्हारी॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

saṃbhu samaya tehi rāmahi dekhā। upajā hiyaṃ ati haraṣu biseṣā॥ bhari locana chabisiṃdhu nihārī। kusamaya jāni na kīnhi cinhārī॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Shiva saw Rama at that very moment, and great joy arose in his heart. He gazed upon that ocean of beauty with his eyes full, but, knowing it was not the proper time, he did not make himself known.
