समाचार कहि जनक सुनाए। जेहि कारन महीप सब आए॥ सुनत बचन फिरि अनत निहारे। देखे चापखंड महि डारे॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

samācāra kahi janaka sunāe। jehi kārana mahīpa saba āe॥ sunata bacana phiri anata nihāre। dekhe cāpakhaṇḍa mahi ḍāre॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Janaka told him the whole account, the reason all the kings had come. On hearing Janaka’s words, Parashurama looked around again and saw the broken pieces of the bow lying on the ground.
