सब बिधि पुरी मनोहर जानी। सकल सिद्धिप्रद मंगल खानी॥ बिमल कथा कर कीन्ह अरंभा। सुनत नसाहिं काम मद दंभा॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
saba bidhi purī manohara jānī। sakala siddhiprada maṅgala khānī॥ bimala kathā kara kīna arambhā। sunata nasāhin kāma mada dambhā॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
Considering this city of Ayodhya beautiful in every way, a giver of all accomplishments and a mine of auspiciousness, I began this pure narration; hearing it destroys lust, pride, and arrogance.
