रथ सारथिन्ह बिचित्र बनाए। ध्वज पताक मनि भूषन लाए॥ चवँर चारु किंकिनि धुनि करहीं। भानु जान सोभा अपहरहीं॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
ratha sārathinha bicitra banāe। dhvaja patāka mani bhūṣana lāe॥ cavaṃra cāru kiṃkini dhuni karahīṃ। bhānu jāna sobhā apaharahīṃ॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
The charioteers had made the chariots wonderfully splendid by adorning them with banners, pennants, gems, and ornaments. Beautiful chowries graced them, and the bells were making sweet sounds. The chariots were so lovely that they seemed to outshine even the splendor of the sun’s chariot.
