पहुँचे दूत राम पुर पावन। हरषे नगर बिलोकि सुहावन॥ भूप द्वार तिन्ह खबरि जनाई। दसरथ नृप सुनि लिए बोलाई॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
pahuṃce dūta rāma pura pāvana। haraṣe nagara biloki suhāvana॥ bhūpa dvāra tinha khabara janāī। dasaratha nṛpa suni lie bolāī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
The envoys reached Rama's holy city. Seeing the lovely city, they were delighted. They went to the royal gate and sent word; hearing this, King Dasharatha had them summoned.
