नित नव चरन उपज अनुरागा। बिसरी देह तपहिं मनु लागा॥ संबत सहस मूल फल खाए। सागु खाइ सत बरष गवाँए॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

nita nava carana upaja anurāgā। bisarī deha tapahiṃ manu lāgā॥ sambata sahasa mūla phala khāe। sāgu khāi sata baraṣa gavāṃe॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

A fresh love for the Lord's feet arose day by day, and her mind became so absorbed in austerity that all awareness of the body was forgotten. For a thousand years she ate roots and fruits, and then spent a hundred years eating greens.
