नाथ करहु बालक पर छोहू। सूध दूधमुख करिअ न कोहू॥ जौं पै प्रभु प्रभाउ कछु जाना। तौ कि बराबरि करत अयाना॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
nātha karahu bālaka para chohū। sūdha dūdhamukha kariā na kohū॥ jaṃ pai prabhu prabhāu kachu jānā। tau ki barābari karata ayānā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
O Lord, have mercy on the child. Do not be angry with this simple, milk-mouthed boy. If he knew even a little of your power, would this fool dare to compare himself with you?
