लखन उतर आहुति सरिस भृगुबर कोपु कृसानु। बढ़त देखि जल सम बचन बोले रघुकुलभानु॥ २७६ ॥

lakhana uttara āhuti sarisa bhṛgubara kopu kṛsānu। baṛhata dekhi jala sama bacana bole raghukulabhānu॥ 276 ॥

Seeing Parashurama's anger-fire, fed by Lakshmana's words as by offerings, rise higher and higher, the Sun of Raghu's line, Shri Ramachandra, spoke words as cool and calming as water—
