मिले न कबहुँ सुभट रन गाढ़े। द्विज देवता घरहि के बाढ़े॥ अनुचित कहि सब लोग पुकारे। रघुपति सयनहिं लखनु नेवारे॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
mile na kabahuṃ subhaṭa rana gāṛhe। dvija devatā garahi ke bāṛhe॥ anucita kahi saba loga pukāre। raghupati sayanahiṃ lakhanu nevāre॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
You have never met truly valiant warriors in battle. O Brahmin lord, you are great only in your own home. Hearing this, everyone cried out, 'This is improper, improper!' Then Shri Raghunath signaled Lakshmana to stop.
