मागध सूत बंदि गुनगायक। चले जान चढ़ि जो जेहि लायक॥ बेसर ऊँट बृषभ बहु जाती। चले बस्तु भरि अगनित भाँती॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
māgadha sūta bandi gunagāyaka। cale jāna caṛhi jo jehi lāyaka॥ besara ūṃṭa bṛṣabha bahu jātī। cale bastu bhari aganita bhāṃtī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
Māgadhs, bards, singers of praise, and others rode on whatever conveyance was fitting for them. Mules, camels, and bulls of many kinds carried loads of countless sorts of goods.
