लेहु छड़ाइ सीय कह कोऊ। धरि बाँधहु नृप बालक दोऊ॥ तोरें धनुषु चाड़ नहिं सरई। जीवत हमहि कुअँरि को बरई॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
lehu chaṛāi sīya kaha kou। dhari bāṃdhahu nṛpa bālaka doū॥ toreṃ dhanuṣu cāḍha nahiṃ sarī। jīvata hamahiṃ kuaṃri ko barī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Some say, "Snatch away Sita and bind both princes." "Even breaking the bow will not fulfill our desire. While we are alive, who can marry the princess?"
Context
