तब सिय देखि भूप अभिलाषे। कूर कपूत मूढ़ मन माखे॥ उठि उठि पहिरि सनाह अभागे। जहँ तहँ गाल बजावन लागे॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

taba siya dekhi bhūpa abhilāṣe। kūra kapūta mūḍha mana mākhe॥ uṭhi uṭhi pahir i sanāha abhāge। jahaṃ tahaṃ gāla bajāvana lāge॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

At the sight of Sita, some kings were seized by desire. Those wicked, foolish, ill-born kings became deeply heated in their minds. The wretches rose up, put on their armor, and began boasting and making noise here and there.

Context

This is Chaupai 1, Under Doha 266 from Bal Kand, in the episode “Sita Garlands Rama”. The episode describes Sita joyfully garlanding Rama after the bow-breaking amid divine flower showers.
