लेहिं परस्पर अति प्रिय पाती। हृदयँ लगाइ जुड़ावहिं छाती॥ राम लखन कै कीरति करनी। बारहिं बार भूपबर बरनी॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
lehīṃ paraspara ati priya pātī। hṛdayaṃ lagāi juḍāvahiṃ chātī॥ rāma lakanha kai kīrati karanī। bārahiṃ bāra bhūpabara baranī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
Taking that very dear पत्रिका among themselves, they pressed it to their hearts and cooled their breasts. King Dasharath, श्रेष्ठ among kings, repeatedly described the fame and deeds of Rama and Lakshmana.
