खेलत रहे तहाँ सुधि पाई। आए भरतु सहित हित भाई॥ पूछत अति सनेहँ सकुचाई। तात कहाँ तें पाती आई॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
khelata rahe tahāṃ sudhi pāī। āe bharatu sahita hita bhāī॥ pūchata ati sanehaṃ sakucāī। tāta kahāṃ teṃ pātī āī॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
While Bharata was playing there with his dear companions, news came and he arrived. With great affection and a shy hesitation, he asked, 'Father, from where has the letter come?'
