कौसिक सुनहु मंद यहु बालकु। कुटिलकालबस निज कुल घालकु॥ भानु बंस राकेस कलंकू। निपट निरंकुस अबुध असंकू॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

kausika sunahu manda yahu bālaku। kuṭilakālabasa nija kula ghālaku॥ bhānu baṃsa rākesa kalaṃkū। nipaṭa niraṃkusa abudha asaṃkū॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

O Vishvamitra, listen: this boy is wicked and crooked. Falling under the sway of Time, he is becoming the destroyer of his own lineage. He is a blemish on the solar dynasty, like the full moon. He is utterly unruly, foolish, and fearless.
