जौं अति प्रिय तौ करिअ उपाई। जोरिअ कोउ बड़ गुनी बोलाई॥ बोलत लखनहिं जनकु डेराहीं। मष्ट करहु अनुचित भल नाहीं॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

jaṃ ati priya tau kariā upāī। joriā kou baḍa gunī bolāī॥ bolata lakhanahiṃ janaku ḍerāhīṃ। maṣṭa karahu anucita bhala nāhīṃ॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

If the bow is so dear, then some remedy should be found and a very skilled person called to repair it. When Lakshmana speaks, King Janaka is alarmed and says, 'Enough, be silent; speaking improperly is not good.'
