जा दिन तें मुनि गए लवाई। तब तें आजु साँचि सुधि पाई॥ कहहु बिदेह कवन बिधि जाने। सुनि प्रिय बचन दूत मुसुकाने॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jā dina teṃ muni gae lavāī। taba teṃ āju sāṃci sudhi pāī॥ kahahu videha kavana vidhi jāne। suni priya bacana dūta musukāne॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
[My brother!] Since the day the sage took them away, only today have we received the true news. Tell us, how did King Janaka recognize them? Hearing these dear words, the envoys smiled.
