एहि बिधि उपजै लच्छि जब सुंदरता सुख मूल। तदपि सकोच समेत कबि कहहिं सीय समतूल॥ २४७ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
ehi bidhi upajai lacchi jaba sundaratā sukha mūla। tadapi sakocha sameta kabi kahahiṃ sīya samatūla॥ 247 ॥
Meaning
Even when Lakshmi arises in this way as the very source of beauty and bliss, poets will still speak of her as equal to Sita only with great reserve and hesitation.
