दूत अवधपुर पठवहु जाई। आनहिं नृप दसरथहि बोलाई॥ मुदित राउ कहि भलेहिं कृपाला। पठए दूत बोलि तेहि काला॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
dūta avadhapura paṭhavahu jāī। ānahiṃ nṛpa dasarathahi bolāī॥ mudita rāu kahi bhalehiṃ kṛpālā। paṭhae dūta boli tehi kālā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Send messengers to Ayodhya to summon King Dasharatha. The king, delighted, said, 'Very good, O gracious one!' and at once had the messengers summoned and sent.
