देखत भृगुपति बेषु कराला। उठे सकल भय बिकल भुआला॥ पितु समेत कहि कहि निज नामा। लगे करन सब दंड प्रनामा॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

dekhata bhṛgupati beṣu karālā। uṭhe sakala bhaya vikala bhuālā॥ pitu sameta kahi kahi nija nāmā। lage karana saba daṇḍa pranāmā॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Seeing Bhṛgupati’s terrible guise, all the kings rose up, overwhelmed with fear. Repeatedly naming themselves along with their fathers, they began offering full prostrations.
