बृंदारका गन सुमन बरिसहिं राउ जनवासेहि चले। दुंदुभी जय धुनि बेद धुनि नभ नगर कौतूहल भले॥ तब सखीं मंगल गान करत मुनीस आयसु पाइ कै। दूलह दुलहिनिन्ह सहित सुंदरि चलीं कोहबर ल्याइ कै॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bṛṃdārakā gana sumana barisahiṃ rāu janavāsehi cale। duṃdubhī jaya dhuni beda dhuni nabha nagara kautūhala bhale॥ taba sakhīṃ maṃgala gāna karata munīsa āyasu pāi kai। dūlaha dulahininha sahita suṃdari calīṃ kohabara lyāi kai॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
The gods showered flowers as the king went to the bridal lodging. The sound of drums, cries of victory, and the chanting of the Vedas filled the sky and the city with great wonder and joy. Then, receiving the sage's command, the beautiful maidens sang auspicious songs and led the bridegrooms and brides to the bridal chamber.
