भूप सयानप सकल सिरानी। सखि बिधि गति कछु जाति न जानी॥ बोली चतुर सखी मृदु बानी। तेजवंत लघु गनिअ न रानी॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bhūpa sayānap sakala sirānī। sakhi bidhi gati kachu jāti na jānī॥ bolī catura sakhī mṛdu bānī। tejavaṃta laghu ganiya na rānī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
The king’s wisdom has all been exhausted, O sister; the ways of destiny cannot be understood. Then a clever companion spoke softly: ‘O queen, the strong should not be considered small.’
