भए बिकल खग मृग एहि भाँती। मनुज दसा कैसें कहि जाती॥ बंधु समेत जनकु तब आए प्रेम उमगि लोचन जल छाए॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bhae bikal khaga mṛga ehi bhāṃtī। manuja dasā kaiseṃ kahi jātī॥ baṃdhu sameta janaku taba āe prema umagi locana jala chāe॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
When even birds and beasts became so distressed, how can the condition of human beings be described? Then Janak came there with his brothers. Overcome by love, tears filled his eyes.
