बैनतेय बलि जिमि चह कागू। जिमि ससु चहै नाग अरि भागू॥ जिमि चह कुसल अकारन कोही। सब संपदा चहै सिवद्रोही॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bainateya bali jimi caha kāgū। jimi sasu cahai nāga ari bhāgū॥ jimi caha kusala akāraṇa kohī। saba saṃpadā cahai sivadrohī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Just as a crow might desire Garuda's portion, as one might desire the lot of the snake's enemy, as a person given to anger might wish for his own welfare, and as one hostile to Shiva might wish for every kind of prosperity.
