बहुत दिवस बीते एहि भाँती। जनु सनेह रजु बँधे बराती॥ कौसिक सतानंद तब जाई। कहा बिदेह नृपहि समुझाई॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bahuta divasa bīte ehi bhāṃtī। janu saneha raju baṃdhe barātī॥ kausika satānanda taba jāī। kahā videha nṛpahi samujhāī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
In this way many days passed, as though the wedding party were bound by the rope of affection. Then Kaushika and Shatananda went and, after explaining the matter, spoke to King Janak.
