अब दसरथ कहँ आयसु देहू। जद्यपि छाड़ि न सकहु सनेहू॥ भलेहिं नाथ कहि सचिव बोलाए। कहि जय जीव सीस तिन्ह नाए॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

aba dasaratha kahaṃ āyasu dehū। jadyapi chāḍi na sakahu sanehū॥ bhalehiṃ nātha kahi saciva bolāe। kahi jaya jīva sīsa tinha nāe॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

Although your affection prevents you from letting them go, still now give leave to Dasharatha. Saying, 'Very well, O Lord,' Janak summoned his ministers. They came and bowed their heads, saying, 'Victory and long life.'
