अति डरु उतरु देत नृपु नाहीं। कुटिल भूप हरषे मन माहीं॥ सुर मुनि नाग नगर नर नारी। सोचहिं सकल त्रास उर भारी॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

ati ḍaru utaru deta nṛpu nāhīṃ। kuṭila bhūpa haraṣe mana māhīṃ॥ sura muni nāga nagara nara nārī। socahiṃ sakala trāsa ura bhārī॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

The king was greatly afraid and gave no answer. Seeing this, the wicked king rejoiced in his heart. Gods, sages, nāgas, and the men and women of the city all became anxious, fear weighing heavily in their hearts.
