यह बिचारि नहिं करउँ हठ झूठ सनेहु बढ़ाइ। मानि मातु कर नात बलि सुरति बिसरि जनि जाइ॥ ५६ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
yaha bicāri nahiṃ karauṃ haṭha jhūṭha sanehu baḍhāi। māni mātu kara nāta bali surati bisari jani jāi॥ 56 ॥
Meaning
Thinking this, I do not stubbornly pretend a false affection. Son, I beseech you: honoring the bond of mother and child, do not let my remembrance slip from your mind.
