उतरु न देइ दुसह रिस रूखी। मृगिन्ह चितव जनु बाघिनि भूखी॥ ब्याधि असाधि जानि तिन्ह त्यागी। चलीं कहत मतिमंद अभागी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
utaru na dei dusaha risa rūkhī। mṛginha citava janu bāghini bhūkhī॥ byādhi asādhi jāni tinha tyāgī। calīṃ kahata matimanda abhāgī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Kaikeyi gives no reply; in her unbearable anger she has become harsh and unyielding. She looks as though a hungry tigress were staring at deer. Seeing the sickness as incurable, the ladies left her. All of them went away, calling her foolish and unfortunate.
