तात तुम्हहि मैं जानउँ नीकें। करौं काह असमंजस जीकें॥ राखेउ रायँ सत्य मोहि त्यागी। तनु परिहरेउ पेम पन लागी॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
tāta tumhahiṃ maiṃ jānaūṃ nīkeṃ। karauṃ kāha asamaṃjasa jīkeṃ॥ rākheu rāyaṃ satya mohi tyāgī। tanu parihareu pema pana lāgī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
O father, I know you well. What am I to do? There is great confusion in my mind. The king abandoned me and upheld truth, and for the sake of his vow of love, he gave up his body.
