मुनिगन निकट बिहग मृग जाहीं। बाधक बधिक बिलोकि पराहीं॥ हित अनहित पसु पच्छिउ जाना। मानुष तनु गुन ग्यान निधाना॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
munigana nikaṭa bihaga mṛga jāhīṃ। bādhaka badhika biloki parāhīṃ॥ hita anahita pasu pacchiu jānā। mānuṣa tanu guna gyāna nidhānā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Birds and deer go near the sages, but seeing hunters and slaughterers, they flee. Even animals and birds can distinguish friend from foe. Then the human body is surely a treasury of virtue and knowledge.
