तब नृप सीय लाइ उर लीन्ही। अति हित बहुत भाँति सिख दीन्ही॥ कहि बन के दुख दुसह सुनाए। सासु ससुर पितु सुख समुझाए॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
taba nṛpa sīya lāi ura līnhī। ati hita bahuta bhāṃti sikha dīnhī॥ kahi bana ke dukha dusaha sunāe। sāsu sasura pitu sukha samujhāe॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Then the king drew Sita into his heart and lovingly gave her many kinds of advice. He described the intolerable hardships of the forest, and then explained the comforts of living with her mother-in-law, father-in-law, and father.
