सुनि रिपुहन लखि नख सिख खोटी। लगे घसीटन धरि धरि झोंटी॥ भरत दयानिधि दीन्हि छड़ाई। कौसल्या पहिं गे दोउ भाई॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
suni ripuhana lakhi nakha sikha khoṭī। lage ghasīṭana dhari dhari jhoṃṭī॥ bharata dayānidhi dīnhi chaṛāī। kausalyā pahiṃ ge dou bhāī॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
On hearing her words, and seeing her to be wicked from head to toe, Shatrughna began dragging her by the hair, seizing it again and again. Then the merciful Bharata set her free, and both brothers went to Kaushalya.
Context
This is Chaupai 4, Under Doha 163 from Ayodhya Kand, in the episode “Bharata and Shatrughna Arrive and Grieve”. The episode describes Bharata and Shatrughna returning to grief-stricken Ayodhya on learning of Dasharatha's death and Rama's exile.
