सुख हरषहिं जड़ दुख बिलखाहीं। दोउ सम धीर धरहिं मन माहीं॥ धीरज धरहु बिबेकु बिचारी। छाड़िअ सोच सकल हितकारी॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

sukha haraṣahiṃ jaḍa dukha bilakhāhīṃ। dou sama dhīra dharahiṃ mana māhīṃ॥ dhīraja dharahu bibeku bichārī। chāṛia soca sakala hitakārī॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

Fools rejoice in happiness and weep in sorrow, but the steadfast hold both as equal in their hearts. Be patient; consider wisely and give up grief, for steadfastness is beneficial to all.
