प्रथम बासु तमसा भयउ दूसर सुरसरि तीर। न्हाइ रहे जलपानु करि सिय समेत दोउ बीर॥ १५० ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
prathama bāsu tamasā bhayau dūsara surasari tīra। nhāi rahe jalapānu kari siya sameta dou bīra॥ 150 ॥
Meaning
Rama's first halt was on the bank of the Tamasa, and the second on the bank of the celestial river, the Ganga. There, the two brothers, together with Sita, bathed and then rested after taking water.
Context
