सीय कि पिय सँगु परिहरिहि लखनु कि रहिहहिं धाम। राजु कि भूँजब भरत पुर नृपु कि जिइहि बिनु राम॥ ४९ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sīya ki piya saṃgu pariharihi lakhanu ki rahihahiṃ dhāma। rāju ki bhūṃjaba bharata pura nṛpu ki jīihi binu rāma॥ 49 ॥
Meaning
Will Sita abandon her beloved and stay behind? Will Lakshmana remain at home? Will Bharata enjoy the kingdom of Ayodhya? And will the king live without Rama? In other words, Sita will not stay here, Lakshmana will not remain, Bharata will not rule, and the king himself will not survive; all will become desolate.
