sāsu samīpa gae dou bhāī। phire bandi paga āsiṣa pāī॥ kausika bāmadeva jābālī। purajana parijana saciva sucālī॥ 3 ॥

Then the two brothers, Rama and Lakshmana, went to their mother-in-law (Sunayana) and, bowing at her feet, returned after receiving her blessings. Then came Vishvamitra, Vamadeva, Jabali, and the virtuous townspeople, relatives, and ministers—
