सभा सकुच बस भरत निहारी। रामबंधु धरि धीरजु भारी॥ कुसमउ देखि सनेहु सँभारा। बढ़त बिंधि जिमि घटज निवारा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sabhā sakucha basa bharata nihārī। rāmabandhu dhari dhīraju bhārī॥ kusamaya dekhi sanehu saṃbhārā। baṛhat biṃdhi jimi ghaṭaja nivārā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Seeing the assembly subdued by embarrassment, Bharata, the brother of Rama, held to great composure. Noticing the inopportune moment, he restrained his rising affection, just as Agastya restrained the growing Vindhya mountain.
