प्रभु सिय लखन बैठि बट छाहीं। प्रिय परिजन बियोग बिलखाहीं॥ भरत सनेह सुभाउ सुबानी। प्रिया अनुज सन कहत बखानी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
prabhu siya lakhan baiṭhi baṭa chāhīṃ। priya parijan biyoga bilakhāhīṃ॥ bharata saneha subhāu subānī। priyā anuja sana kahata bakhānī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Lord Rama, along with Sita and Lakshmana, sat in the shade of the banyan tree, grieving separation from dear relatives and companions. Praising Bharata’s affection, nature, and noble speech, he spoke lovingly to his dear younger brother.
