पितु आयस भूषन बसन तात तजे रघुबीर। बिसमउ हरषु न हृदयँ कछु पहिरे बलकल चीर॥ १६५ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
pitu āyasa bhūṣana basana tāta taje raghubīra। bisamau haraṣu na hṛdayaṃ kachu pahire balakala cīra॥ 165 ॥
Meaning
Dear one, by the Father's command Lord Raghubir gave up ornaments and garments and put on bark clothing. In His heart there was neither sorrow nor joy.
