फिरिहि दसा बिधि बहुरि कि मोरी। देखिहउँ नयन मनोहर जोरी॥ सुदिन सुघरी तात कब होइहि। जननी जिअत बदन बिधु जोइहि॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

phirihi dasā bidhi bahuri ki morī। dekhihaum̐ nayana manohara jorī॥ sudina sugharī tāta kaba hoihi। jananī jiata badana bidhu joihi॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

O Fate, will my condition ever change again? Will I be able to see this lovely pair again with my own eyes? O son, when will that beautiful day and auspicious hour come when your mother will see your moonlike face again while she is still alive?
