कहि प्रिय बचन प्रिया समुझाई। लगे मातु पद आसिष पाई॥ बेगि प्रजा दुख मेटब आई। जननी निठुर बिसरि जनि जाई॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kahi priya bacana priyā samujhāī। lage mātu pada āsiṣa pāī॥ begi prajā dukha meṭaba āī। jananī niṭhura bisari jani jāī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
Shri Ramachandra comforted his beloved Sita with sweet words. Then he bowed at his mother's feet and received her blessings. [The mother said:] "Son, return quickly and remove the suffering of the people, and let not this stern mother be forgotten by you!"
