पछिले पहर भूपु नित जागा। आजु हमहि बड़ अचरजु लागा॥ जाहु सुमंत्र जगावहु जाई। कीजिअ काजु रजायसु पाई॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
pachhile pahara bhūpu nita jāgā। āju hamahi baṛa acaraju lāgā॥ jāhu sumaṃtra jagāvahu jāī। kījia kāju rajāyasu pāī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
The king always wakes in the later part of the night, but today we are greatly surprised. O Sumantra, go and wake the king. After receiving his command, we shall do all the work.
