मिलि केवटहि उमगि अनुरागा। पुरजन सकल सराहहिं भागा॥ देखीं राम दुखित महतारीं। जनु सुबेलि अवलीं हिम मारीं॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
mili kevaṭahi umagi anurāgā। purajana sakala sarāhahiṃ bhāgā॥ dekhīṃ rāma dukhita mahatārīṃ। janu subeli avalīṃ hima mārīṃ॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
Meeting Kevat, all the townspeople overflowed with affection and praised his good fortune. Rama saw all the mothers in distress, as if a row of beautiful creepers had been struck by frost.
