काने खोरे कूबरे कुटिल कुचाली जानि। तिय बिसेषि पुनि चेरि कहि भरतमातु मुसुकानि॥ १४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kāne khore kūbare kuṭila kuchālī jāni। tiya biśeṣi puni ceri kahi bharatamātu musukāni॥ 14 ॥
Meaning
Deaf people, lame people, and hunchbacks should be known as crooked and crafty. And among them, women—and especially a maid! Saying this, Bharata’s mother Kaikeyi smiled.
