गुर सन कहि बरषासन दीन्हे। आदर दान बिनय बस कीन्हे॥ जाचक दान मान संतोषे। मीत पुनीत प्रेम परितोषे॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
gura sana kahi baraṣāsana dīhne। ādaradāna binaya basa kīhne॥ jācaka dāna māna santoṣe। mīta punīta prema paritoṣe॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
At the guru's instruction, He gave them all provision for the year, and by honor, gifts, and humility He won them over. Then He satisfied the beggars with gifts and respect, and delighted His friends with pure love.
