गए लखनु जहँ जानकिनाथू। भे मन मुदित पाइ प्रिय साथू॥ बंदि राम सिय चरन सुहाए। चले संग नृपमंदिर आए॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

gae lakhanu jahaṃ jānakināthū। bhe mana mudita pāi priya sātū॥ bandi rāma siya carana suhāe। cale saṃga nṛpamandira āe॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Lakshmana went to where the Lord of Janaki was, and, having found the company of his beloved, his heart became very joyful. Bowing to the lovely feet of Rama and Sita, he went along with them and came to the royal palace.
