गए अवध चर भरत गति बूझि देखि करतूति। चले चित्रकूटहि भरतु चार चले तेरहूति॥ २७१ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
gae avadha cara bharata gati būjhi dekhi kartūti। cale citrakūṭahi bharatu cāra cale terahūti॥ 271 ॥
Meaning
The spies went to Ayodhya, understood Bharata’s conduct, and saw his actions. Then they went toward Chitrakoot. The four went off toward Tirhut along with Bharata.
