दूतन्ह आइ भरत कइ करनी। जनक समाज जथामति बरनी॥ सुनि गुर परिजन सचिव महीपति। भे सब सोच सनेहँ बिकल अति॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
dūtanha āi bharata kai karanī। janaka samāja jathāmati baranī॥ suni gura parijana saciva mahīpati। bhe saba soca sanehaṃ bikala ati॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
The envoys came and, in King Janaka’s assembly, described Bharata’s conduct according to their own understanding. Hearing this, the guru, relatives, ministers, and the king all became अत्यन्त disturbed with चिंता and affection.
